Grand Cakra Hotel Malang, Malang

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The location is great, right next to a small mall with plenty of food options. While the room was clean and comfortable, it felt a bit outdated. The swimming pool, although small, was well-maintained. Unfortunately, the TV channels were grainy which was a letdown. The value for the price was decent, but there are better options available in the area.

I had a great time at this hotel during my first visit to the city. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the clean room and the tasty breakfast. There was a bit of confusion about the bar service, but the staff worked it out, and I enjoyed a cold beer in the restaurant. A standout was Fida, who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. However, I noticed some outdated aspects in the hotel that could use improvement.
